Fayette County has 18,195 registered voters and only 7,028 voted in the March Primaries. Of the 7,028 only 987 voted Democratic.

In a runoff, turnout drops, margins tighten, and every voter who shows up carries even more weight.

The people elected in this runoff will help shape the future direction of Texas government for years to come.  If we want leaders who actually reflect our values, we have to show up for elections like this one and vote.
